No FA Cup, no UCL...
...NOW there's a sole focus, the EPL, and I'm loving that.
BTW, congratulations to Guus Hiddink for having the balls to leave out the scrapper Jon Obi Mikel in favour of a far more offensive central midfield trio of Essien (outstanding), Lampard and Ballack.
It wouldn't have happened under Mourinho.
It allowed Chelsea to control the game, kept them on the offensive, made for an eye-catching game, and really it was Chelsea asking all the questions, at Anfield no less. 3-1 was undoubtedly a fair result.

Giving up on Liverpool already are we Tony. :)
Great morning for myself as football fan seeing Liverpool go down at Anfield and Barca demolish Bayern.
Certainly given up on the ucl Neil, but I'm quite happy about that to be honest, so long as we push Manu all the way in the epl...
While I'd like Porto to win next week, I certainly wont be upset if man u do.
By my calculations Manu have at least 10 games in 44 days (not including potential ucl semis) and we have 8, so I would love it if they added a few more games to their schedule...
Barca were simply smashing, but as Craig Foster pointed out last night, there are holes Hiddink might be able to exploit.
Messi is god.
You reckon Foster and Hiddink were having an affair when he was the Aussie coach, the way he goes on about him
Hiddink is the best manager in the world at the moment.
